South African musician Makhadzi and iconic South African musician Papa Penny are in the studio together. This means fans should be ready as there could be a possible collaboration being cooked in the oven.
Makhadzi took to her social media on Thursday to reveal that the pair are working on potential music which is the remake of Papa Penny Penny’ hit Milandu Bhe.
“I brought Papa Penny back in the studio to remake his Milandu Bhe hit which ruled one of the festives back in the 90s …it’s going down,” Makhadzi wrote in her instagram post.
The hitmaker posted a series of videos of the pair in the studio dancing and also performing for a large crowd. Papa Penny had his breakthrough in the music industry in 1994 when he released his debut album Shaka Bundu. This was recorded in a week through the equipment he had gathered at the time and he sold over 250,000 copies in the country.
Fans along with celebrities were overly excited after the announcement of a possible collab between the hitmaker and mzansi’s iconic musician Papa Penny.
