Pastors wives star mourns death of her husband

Calvary International Bible Church’s Pastor Goodwill Khoase Khethang has died.

Khethang (43), who was the husband of reality star Phume Khethang, died in hospital on Monday, 24 October, from cardiac arrest.

Family spokeswoman Busi Vilakazi said: “Pastor Khethang was a kind and wonderful husband, father, brother and friend. He was loved by all who have had the privilege of being in his circle.

“He was a God-fearing man. Those who know him know how he adored his wife of 11 years. He was also known for his kindness and sense of style.”

Phume, who starred in Honey TV’s Pastor’s Wives, has been left in despair by her husband’s passing.

“To my G.O.A.T, my ride or die and my best friend. I miss you and I will miss you every day. You were an amazing husband and I’m grateful to have been loved by you and shared love with you.

“Thank you for all the support you have given me in all that I did. You were my number one fan. I was your queen and you were my king. You have given me the best 10 years of my life,” said Phume.

Khethang’s funeral service will be held at The Phume Home Fellowship Church in KwaThema, Mzumbe section, on Saturday, 29 October.

The Khethang family said they would like to thank family and friends for their support through this difficult time.
