“I fear South African Men more than anything in the world” says South African actress

Moitheri Pheto, a famous South African actress who played the lead role of Miriam in the 2006 Oscar-winning film Tsotsi, recently took to Twitter to express her irrational dread of South African men. The South African actress did just that on her verified Twitter account, posting a picture of a news piece that featured graphic images of killed children.

The famous South African actress tweeted a link to a story with the bleak headline “How many more must Die?” About 549 children have been slain in South Africa so far, according to an article that Moitheri Pheto has made public on her official Twitter account.

And it’s been reported that three kids are killed in South Africa every single day. Because of this, the South African actress has declared publicly that she is afraid of men in her country.

Moitheri Pheto, who wrote the above caption, felt a deep and abiding dread of South African men.

However, many South Africans’ reactions to Moitheri Pheto’s allegation were predictably nuanced. Even still, other commenters stressed that further social problems still needed fixing.
