Lamiez went on and appreciated her mother as she pensdown a heartfelt letter, she appreciated her mother for the they gave to her from day one ,she said her mother believed in her when it looked impossible and there was no one believing in her.

Lamiez won DJ of the Year and Music TV Presenter of the Year at the awards ceremony that took place over the weekend. The DJ expressed her gratitude to her mum on her Instagram page for supporting her in her aspirations.

She claimed that since winning the two prizes on Saturday night, her phone has not stopped ringing. Her mother has always been supportive and made sacrifices for her, according to the speaker, who claimed that it took her 12 years to create her brand.

She went on and said that if it wasn’t for her mother she wouldn’t be where she is at today. Lamiez dedicates her 2 awards to her mother as she say they inspired her to be where she is today , she concluded by saying there is Lamiez Holworthy today because of her mother.
