Actor Hlomla Dandala, who plays the role of Lindiwe’s husband Zweli Dikana in ‘The River’ has exited the telenovela.
The Mdantsane born wrote on IG that : “The end of an actor’s time on a long running show is always bitter-sweet. Wishing my colleagues a smooth fruitful run. You will be missed.”
On the telenovela he has been married to producer-actress Sindi Dlathu’s character Lindiwe Dikana.
The River season 5 flashforward indicates Mabutho will ‘accidentally kill’ Zweli in the bathroom after he confronts him at his and Nomonde’s wedding.
We’ll see how it unfolds.
The River Season 6 will start in Feb 2023.
