In April 2022, Sammie impressed Mzansi after she shared a video of herself rapping to her poetry on Tik Tok and her more than 100K followers responded well to it.
After receiving positive feedback, Sammie Heavens went on to release a four track E.P titled July which fans already canât get enough of.
Speaking to Drum Magazine, the beautiful artist revealed that had written all the songs early in the year but had not been confident enough to put them out. Although she had been reluctant to tell Nasty C about her intention to start rapping as she wasnât sure about how he would have reacted, Sammie revealed that her boyfriend has been very supportive and has been pushing her to create her own path.
