Sara Lee, who is the winner of Season 6 of WWE’s Tough Enough reality series, has died at the age of 30, her mother, Terri Lee, announced on Thursday 6 October.

FORMER WWE WRESTLER HAS DIED
According to a short statement shared by Sara Lee’s mother on Facebook, the funeral arrangements are not yet complete.

“It is with heavy hearts we wanted to share that our Sara Weston has gone to be with Jesus,” Terri Lee wrote.

“We are all in shock and arrangements are not complete. We ask that you respectfully let our family mourn. We all need prayers, especially Cory [her husband] and her children.”

Sara Lee’s cause of death was not given.

ABOUT SARA LEE
After winning Tough Enough in 2015, she earned herself a one-year WWE contract, according to Entertainment Weekly.

She went on to compete in eight matches as part of WWE’s NXT development brand as well as the independent circuit.

In 2017, Sara Lee married wrestler Cory Weston aka Wesley Blake. The couple shared three children and a dog.

On Tuesday this week, she shared in an Instagram post that she had been battling her “first ever sinus infection” but was “celebrating finally being healthy enough to go to the gym 2 days in a row.”

TRIBUTES
“No tweet or amount of words can bring back this beautiful human, but all of my heart goes out to @TheWestinBlake & their family. Sara Lee will be missed greatly,” tweeted wrestler Chelsea Green.

“The photo on the left is how I will always remember her – laughing, smiling, carefree,” she added.

“WWE is saddened to learn of the passing of Sara Lee. As a former “Tough Enough” winner, Lee served as an inspiration to many in the sports-entertainment world. WWE offers its heartfelt condolences to her family, friends and fans,” WWE said in a tweet.
