Neo Matsunyane was born in Johannesburg on January 17 1967. As of 2022, the star is aged 55 and still looks youthful. One would never guess he is a grandfather. Matsunyane is a private person who keeps his personal life off social media, so there is limited information regarding his childhood background.
The celebrated movie director matriculated at Kebalepile High School in Mafikeng in 1983. After passing his matric with good grades, he enrolled for a diploma at the School of Broadcasting, graduating in 1985. In the wake of his graduation, he glorified his educational studies with a SABC-organized directors course in collaboration with Bateleur Films.
Matsunyane took two extra courses on Script Analysis at the Pretoria Technikon and another at the Hollywood Film Institute. His educational pursuits explain why everything he touches turns into gold.
