People like Vusi Thanda and D.R. Malinga didn’t care about the humiliation and embarrassment. They opened up to the public, and the people raised their hands to help them.

Vusi, who is popularly known for his Emzini Zezinsizwa’s role and his famous quote “as far as I’m concerned,” was making the rounds on social media last week after disclosing his financial challenges. After people showed their eagerness to help, he released a video. In his words, he said, “I am Vusumzi Thanda. I use Capitec Bank. My account number is 1364691572. I would like to express it to those who felt it. ”

The people sent money from their pockets and words of encouragement to him and his family, which he later thanked and appreciated the help got.

“I want to thank those who donated for their generosity. Their donations have reached R100,000 and I am thankful for that. I don’t care about those who have criticised me for asking for help from the public. These are people who called themselves friends, but they were not there when I needed them. Some of them knew my situation, but they never assisted me, ” he said.

Dj Sbu visited Vusi, but people were not very pleased with his efforts. He was slammed that he was using Vusi’s troubling times to gain a public score because if it was genuine, then he would have done the same to Zahara when he was losing her house.
