Nasty C Reveals How He Plans To Win The Hearts Of Americans With His Music. Nasty C is still in pursuit to achieve his American dream which has been deemed by some to be a nightmare. The young rapper still has his eyes set to break into the American market which might also seem to be like a mountain to climb.
Even with all the hurdles that he has to overcome, the rapper has revealed his organic plan on how he plans to win the hearts of Americans with his music. During an interview on Gray Rizzy’s Podcast, the self-proclaimed Coolest Kid In Africa was asked about how plans to break into the American market and win the heart of Americans who are known to be ‘finicky’. What’s your plan bro, to win these people over?” Asked Grizzy.
Responding to the question, Nasty C simply outlines his organic plans on how he intends to get his music played all over the States. “I feel like the best way to do it and the most organic way to do it, is to do collaborations,” he said. “I get doing collaborations with artists that have like made it you know are huge and stuff like that, that works to some degree, but it doesn’t all translate,” he added.
Nasty C further made it clear that his initial plan is to work with artists that are also trying to break into the US hip hop market. “Working with artists who are up and coming out here who have like a younger audience and demographic works a bit better and in a more natural way because these kids nowadays they don’t really care about the accent or where the artist is from, the music is dope, the music is dope and they will start to follow you and whatever.” He said.

Not only does Nasty C want to work with young artists, but he also wants to live some of his music in the United States, which is impossible if he features a big artist in his song. “The whole thing is trying to get the music to live out here too because a lot of times when we do features with like the big artists, they will do a verse on my song and I will take it back home and then I’ll still be speaking to my same fans, it doesn’t really stay over here. So now my whole mission is I just come out here and do a bunch of verses, free verses for artists, I’ll leave the verses here and it will spread, it will go slowly but you know.“
