Azwindini showcased a VhaVenda dance recently. Muvhango respects the culture of the VhaVenda culture, and we saw how beautiful the funeral of the late Vho-Mukondeleli was earlier this year.
Azwindini, played very well by Gabriel Temundzani, is the king of Thathe, a village in Limpopo.
He was born a royal from his father’s side Vho-Mashudu Mukwevho.
Viewers and fans of Muvhango never miss the cultural beauty always shown on Muvhango, and we get to see all kinds of rituals and dances.
A video of Azwindini dancing 8n between takes on set has surfaced and made many viewers happy.
The Chief is seen alongside a group of women sitting in their traditional attires and singing Vha-Venda cultural songs. Amongst the women, we can see Vho-Masindi and Vho-Makhadzi, as well as Rendani singing along.
September is Heritage month in South Africa, and this video is appropriate to celebrate it. Azwindini breaks a leg dancing, and later in the video, his ex-wife Susan joins in. VhaVenda is very proud of its culture and beautiful language.

Azwindini looks to be enjoying himself as he gets into it and dances nonstop.
We don’t know if the dance itself has a name but knowing the culture of VhaVenda, it probably does.
“Work hard and play harder.”
The caption to the video read.
The scene seems to be set for a function the chief is holding for the Royals because we can see his seat draped in the famous animal skin and Mulimisi sitting waiting for a ceremony to begin.
The scene will happen outdoors in the woods, with different fruit baskets and vegetables laid across.
