Former Ukhozi FM presenter Ngizwe Mchunu clashes with Bheki Cele at Umkhosi Womhlanga

Former Ukhozi FM presenter Ngizwe Mchunu lost his temper when he met the Minister of Police, Bheki Cele at the Umkhosi Womhlanga on Saturday.

As Mchunu is known for losing his cool and speaking anyhow, he did the same with the minister of which it became clear that the two do not get along.

Cele was answering questions from the media when Mchunu saw him and bursted out loud, asking the minister why he was arrested.

It will be remembered that last year July, Mchunu was arrested for inciting violence on the July unrest.

He was released on bail and his trial is due to resume shortly.

While Cele was busy greeting the regiments, he bumped into Mchunu whom they started shaking hugs like old time friends.

It will be remembered that in the past, Cele and Ngizwe use to be arch-enemies as Ngizwe use to call Cele with all sort of names on social media and made it clear he should be fired because he has no clue at doing his job.

Ngizwe then asked Cele why he was arrested. It was only until eNCA journalist, Siphamandla Goge intervened and took Cele aside to interview him about the safety at eNyokeni royal palace.

After that Goge asked Cele why was Ngizwe arrested, to which Cele said Ngizwe should be asked that question.

Ngizwe responded to this and said he was arrested for only saying ‘Ziyakhala’

Cele then responded in laughter and said ‘zikhala kuwe-ke’, meaning that it is now happening right back at him (Ngizwe).

Cele received praises from Kwa Zulu prime minister, Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi for ensuring that there is safety at the eNyokeni royal palace by removing Prince Smakade and his companions from the palace and deploying members of the police force.
