Mr. Mokgadi Caster One of the most beloved daughters of the soil, Semenya, captivated the affections among many by letting running seem like poetry in motion. In the Limpopo community of Ga-Masehlong on January 7, 1991, Semenya was born. Along with a brother, she has three sisters.
Semenya went to Nthema High School and is now a student studying sports science at the University of Pretoria. She is an intermediate runner.
At the 2008 Confederation Youth Games, Semenya won the gold medal in the 800 meters. She also competed there in 2008 World Junior Championships. In 2010.
Semenya was listed among the “50 Participants That Matter” by the British publication New Statesman because she accidentally sparked “a global and frequently tense conversation on gender relations, feminism, and racism, inspiring gender campaigners throughout the world.”
In December 2015, Semenya wed Violet Raseboya, her longtime companion. They disclosed that their daughter was born in 2020, thanks to Violet Raseboya.
