“Do not mislead people” This is a statement by Dr. Malinga as he went online to say that DJ Black Coffee did not give him R500,000.

Many people were saddened when Dr Malinga, a South African artist who goes by the name Goodwill Malinga, sobbed while discussing his financial struggles on MacG’s Podcast and Chill. As a result of the supportive comments from many of his followers, the episode quickly became popular. Numerous celebrities, local DJ Black Coffee, also promised to assist the singer who was drowning in debt.

Rumours that Black Coffee had provided Malinga R500k began to spread soon after the information that he was becoming involved, which he has subsequently denied online.

After Dr Malinga disclosed that several of his personal possessions were being sought by debt collectors, many individuals came together to lend him a helping hand.

Makhadzi, Kabza de Small, and even Julius Malema, the head of the Economic Freedom Fighters, intervened to lend a hand.

The singer received assistance from Black Coffee as well, but in contrast to common perception, the musician did not provide Dr. Malinga R500,000.

Dr. Malinga went to his Twitter page shortly after rumours began to spread to refute them.

Even worse, some of them claimed he was acting “weirdly” on Twitter. Check out the comments of fans:

It’s so easy for celebrities to cry when their assets are repossessed and lose all their money and we the nation start donating towards his empire but what about us poor who have never had his fortune and never complain about our situation
