Bongekile Simelane (born March 26, 1994), better known as Babes Wodumo is a South African gqom artist and choreographer.[2] She rose to fame following the release of her breakthrough song “Wololo”, in 2016. The song later appeared on her debut studio album, Gqom Queen, released in late 2016. Babes Wodumo is a part of the music connoisseurs who were pivotal in influencing the genre’s international acclaim included the likes of South African rapper Okmalumkoolkat, Italian record label Gqom Oh owner, Malumqawz Kole[4] inclusive of music taste-makeraand public relations liaison, Cherish Lala Mankai and Afrotainment record label owner DJ Tira. She appeared on Black Panther: The Album on a song called “Redemption”. In 2017, Wodumo was nominated for the BET Award for Best International Act: Africa. In July 2020, she released her second album Idando Kazi.

 

 

 

Sometimes being a celebrity comes with a lot of challenges because people are watching everything you do. And in most cases they look at the negative things. People like babes Wodumo grow up on TV and a lot of people know her from when she was still in her teenage days, and when some things happened to her like the challenges of life when Mampintsha was being abusive to her and when her video when she was drunk went viral, people were there to witness it all because it was exposed on social media.

And this has made people look at Babes Wodumo in a different way. They don’t take her as the Babes Wodumo they used to love but they are judging her based on her past mistakes and past life.

After seeing this post people started making fun of Babes Wodumo saying this is the picture when she was still a baby. While someone also commented saying why is she wearing leather clothes during summer. While someone who was probably concerned asked if Babes Wodumo is ok?

Though people didn’t say why they are saying all those things. But judging from their comments they are probably saying this because they noticed that she has lost weight compare to the last time they saw her. But that’s not something to make fun of people are going through a lot out there and no one knows what is babes Wodumo going through. So making fun of her won’t help but it might make the situation worse if there’s anything she is going through.
