A social media user, Radebe has said that lawyer and journalist, Karyn Maughan is not a victim, disclosing that she broke the law. She noted that publishing someone’s confidential medical records is against the law of the country. She noted that Karyn is not being victimized as some social media users are saying, disclosing that she must dance to the tune of her music. Furthermore, she further disclosed that Karyn Maughan was blinded by hate for Jacob Zuma, and she expressed it by going after his private and confidential medical records. Radebe wrote this on Twitter to debunk the insinuations that Jacob Zuma and his cohorts are trying to victimize her for doing journalistic works. However, Radebe wrote, “As a “legal” journalist, she should know National Health Act 61 of 2003, but she chose to ignore it because she wanted to have the “hot scoop” on the one man she hates. She’s not a victim. She is an agent of WMC propaganda”.

Karyn Maughan have never ceased to use any available platform to attack or bash Jacob Zuma, and when she obtained a private and confidential medical information and published it, people were not surprised. They reasoned that she can go to any length to hurt Jacob Zuma. However, Jacob Zuma and his Jacob Zuma Foundation disclosed that they will not keep mute this time around, which is why they have dragged her and one other person to court. A social media pointed out that, “She broke the law by publishing Zuma’s confidential medical records, which she got through Billy Downer. Stellenbosch protects their own with so much vigour, it’s actually insane. Look at the Steinkopf guys”. Some people believe that no matter how glaring the evidences are, Jacob Zuma will never get any justice in South Africa Judiciary. Modiba Modibe wrote, “Criminally accused Adv Karyn Maughan broke the law in order to push her own racist & one-sided agenda. If it were a black reporter, SANEF would be busy calling them to order, media personalities like bo Redi would be lambasting us already. What she did was unethical”.
