Now, after the abuse allegations that were made against actor Simphiwe Majozi, it was necessary for him to give his side of the story and he did.
And there was quite a lot that revealed in a statement that he released recently, we got to understand more about the situation.
The unfortunate thing about this is that, Majozi and his girlfriend have been in a relationship for years and there is a child involved.
But first, let us get into the introduction, as you might know, Majozi is an actor, popularly known for the famous character Sbu Makhathini, a role he plays on SABC 1‘s telenovela, Uzalo.
He is loved by many South Africans and the last thing one would want to hear about the guy is that he laid his hand on a woman.
So, this will be more about Majozi’s response than anything, in the statement the actor made it clear to the public that he would never physically assault a woman and he really put emphasis on that.
It is said that Kekeletso Mahlelebe who is the ex-girlfriend, took to social media to make these allegations, she mentioned that Majozi physically assaulted her and cheated on her with a number of women.
But, going back to the statement, Majozi tried to make the public understand why he is refuting the allegations.
He claims that they are simply not true and what actually happened is that, they used to be family and just like any other couple, they had fights.
The actor mentions that Kekeletso is trying to get back at him for breaking up with her. According to Majozi, Kekeletso is the one who cheated with another guy and as a result of that, he asked her to leave his house.
Majozi goes on to mention that people should question this before they start to regard him as a woman beater, he mentioned that this never happened.
Other information that was shared is that, Kekeletso has a child and Majozi was the stepfather, he took care of the child as if he was the biological father.
He then mentioned that people should ask themselves why Kekeletso would leave him and his helper with a child for weeks if he was the abuser that she claims he is.
Majozi claims that Kekeletso would leave for weeks and it seems like there is more to this story that we did not know, we will have to wait and see what she has to say about this.
