Though not everyone believes that Meneer Magongwa; a role played by Putla Sehlapelo; is perfect for the job of being Principal for the Turf High school.

He has hit the ground running; trying to show everyone; that he is there to enforce discipline; despite everyone including students being skeptical about him being the man for the job.

 

 

 

 

Meneer had stiff competition from other colleagues who were vying for the job; he also desperately wanted the job of Principal; even manipulating the situation; so it did not come easily.

Many believe Manaka or Evelyn; could have been better candidates than him; meanwhile; Magongwa has been celebrating his victory ever since he was appointed.

However; Magongwa has weaknesses of being too emotional; and taking things personally. It remains to be seen how he will handle his new job.

Magongwa tried to make peace with Jacobeth; real name Elizabeth Serunye; after she had doled out a mouthful to him before he got the position.

She asked him how he was planning to be a principal; when he failed to keep his family of four together. She even told him that; the only suitable job for him is to go and sell tyres in the bushes.

However; Magongwa was determined to make peace with Jacobeth; because she is the former principal of Turf High school and may help guide him; in his new job.

Jacobeth finally agreed to the truce; despite her openly hating Magongwa and gossiping about him; calling him a crook.

Magongwa on the other hand has gotten rid of an intern during his first week as principal; which has raised many eyebrows.

Sadly; Clement and Oritonda were beaten up by homophobics. Pretty; his aunt; saved the day by calling the police to have their attackers arrested.

Pretty was so annoyed by homophobics; who have no right to attack the gay couple; because they are following their hearts.
