Mandlakhe approves of Seipati
When Gagashe and Seipati got to KZN, he secretly went to do his rituals with his uncle, and it was said that his snake, Mandlake was angry and could punish him. Gagashe then spent the night in a hut, and through some miracle, he was alive the next day with a crazy request from Mandlakhe weighing on his shoulders. Mandlakhe wanted to meet Seipati before the wedding, and so he did and approved of her as Gagashe’s wife.

Despite Seipati’s worries, with the help of her daughter-in-law and family, she stopped worrying about her pending nuptials. She went out dressed like a Sotho bride to wed her Zulu man with their families as witnesses and even some dignitaries like the Police Commissioner. The two were married traditionally, and no one was against the wedding, even Mohau, who had his doubts before.
During the ceremony, Gagashe’s brother voiced his opinion about the traditions which were not followed before the wedding. Still, Gagashe asked him not to be a spoilsport as everyone enjoyed the celebration. He went on to welcome Seipati in a ritual that made her a Zondi, and attire celebrations began after changing from a Sotho to a Zulu.
Morusu, an Accordionist and musician, made an appearance on the show and performed at the wedding. Both Sotho and Zulu cultures were represented well as people dressed in their traditional attires, which impressed a lot of viewers.

The bride was dressed in a blue dress with white and black designs on the bodice covered in glitter. Her headscarf was also black and covered in glitter that matched her dress. She later changed into a black dress with a black and white cover, typical Zulu attire. This was accessorized with a black and white hat with beads artwork. The groom had a traditional animal print attire at first and later changed into black and white attire to match his bride.
Gagashe’s many wives are revealed in the video below:
However, their marriage problems start before the wedding day even begins when Seipati is sitting with women that were introduced as aunts to her. One of them gets drunk and spills the secret that she is Gagashe’s fifth wife, and the women she sits with are her sister’s wives.
