Winnie Ntshaba, a South African actress, is best known for her role in the SABC 1 series Generations. She made her debut in the 2000s, but it wasn’t until Yesterday that she started to find success.

On September 1, 1975, in Kwa-Zulu Natal, Ntshaba was born. Her older sister, who encouraged her to complete her schooling, is someone she looks up to.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

She graduated from the University of Natal in Durban with a Bachelor of Arts in Drama with Highest Honors.

After arriving to Johannesburg in 2000, she became active with AREPP Shoe String Plays, acting in educational and industrial theater productions. Soon after, in 2004, she starred as a lead in the TV drama Jozi Streets.

Ntshaba was hired as a supporting actress for the Leleti Khumalo-starring film Yesterday from 2004. Her performance in her breakthrough movie role was hailed by critics

Ntshaba landed her first significant role in the drama Shreds and Dreams by Claire Stopford (2004). She went on to star in three more films.
