They believe kids will do what they see their parents doing, and that’s usually the case. This remark lends credence to the events unfolding at the home of the notorious polygamist Musa Mseleku. Son of polygamist Musa Mseleku, Mpumelelo Mseleku, has come forward to expose the family secret. Musa, a man with four wives and 10 children, has just pushed his offspring to engage in polygamy so that the Mseleku name might be passed down through the generations. Mpumelelo told the Daily Sun that “the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree” and that he is considering proposing to both of his girlfriends.
Mpumelelo exclaims with delight that his two fiancees, Vuyokazi Nciweni and Nompumelelo Makhanya, have finally admitted that they intend to enter into a polygamous marriage. She is based in Cape Town, while he is in Durban, but Vuyokazi and Mpumelelo are married and have a child together.
He’s saving up to marry his girlfriends and give them lobola, he told the Daily Sun. He said that he does not have enough money to pay for it all by himself, but that his father will help out with a portion of it.
For the time being, my only source of income is an inheritance, and I intend to utilize that money to purchase Lobola. Second, my dad and I have made it clear that no one else is allowed to listen in on our ilobola conversations. According to Mpumelelo, “my mother, MaYeni, is completely unaware of what is taking place.” Mpumelelo has stated that he and his girlfriends will finally meet in December, since he intends to spend Christmas in South Africa with them.
Two of Musa Mseleku’s son’s lovely daughters are married to men who have fathered their children by other women. He’s following in his dad’s footsteps.
