Undoubtedly, prominent South Africans as well as some of the finest in the world, including the current Miss Universe from India and Miss Supernational Lalela Mswane, attended the contest. She succeeded Lalela Mswane as queen, which is noteworthy given that her reign was clouded by scandals. Lebongang Mahlangu accepted the title of second runner-up, and the vivacious Ayanda Thabethe accepted the title of first runner-up.
The newly crowned Miss SA, however, appears to have already begun receiving the prizes that are due to her as a result of her victory. After winning, she is setting trends after receiving a brand-new Mercedes Benz.

Mercedes Benz SA provided the svelte beast. Miss SA presented the million-rand AMG while dressed in a black jumpsuit and accessorized with a crown. Depending on specifications and extras, the exquisite white AMG is said to cost at least R2.5 million at authorized Mercedes Benz dealers. Taking to Twitter, Miss SA’s official Twitter account posted many images from the event with the following caption:

She is also planning to move into a million-rand flat, which has a R10.5 million market value. Throughout her rule, she will opulently reside in the Ellipse Waterfall penthouse in Waterfall City, Gauteng.
