The top 10 has been selected, the judges have been announced – the 13th of August is the finale of Miss South Africa 2022 pageant. A companions reality series titled Crown Chasers is now airing on YouTube and will show you their journey leading up to the finals. It has also been revealed that for the first time in 64 years of the pageant, an all female team is behind the production. Some might have been of guard by the judges announcement – especially that of Thuli Madonsela. Join us as we unpack more of the story below.

Miss South Africa CEO Stephanie Weil is behind the creative process of the show. This year’s theme is solely focused on looking for individuals that are all about female empowerment, mental health awareness, driven and purposeful. Black Swan Media has been appointed as the production company for this year. It’s executive producer has a lot of accolades to prove her work ethic. Relebogile Mabotja was a newsreader on Metro FM and also produced The Voice SA back in 2019.

 

 

 


Miss SA’s winner for this year will be staying at a lavish apartment situated in Ellipse Waterfall. Recognizable by its gleaming glass fronted towers and a breathtaking architectural design – they are definitely in for a treat. Here’s what you can find in the apartment:

— Study area

— Master bedroom and an ensuite bathroom

— Balcony and a heated swimming pool
