Connie Ferguson is married to the late Botswana actor who was based in South Africa, executive producer, director, businessman and co-founder of Ferguson Films, Shona Ferguson. The two icons married in June 2002 and they have two children namely Lesedi Ferguson and Alicia Angel Ferguson.

 

 

 

 

 

The two were married for over 20 years, sadly they were separated by the death of Shona Ferguson. Shona passed away on the 30th of July 2021 late afternoon, his death shocked the whole of South Africa and Botswana as no one was expecting it to be this soon.

The actress was featured on the cover of Forbes Woman Africa magazine back in 2018. The magazine features the richest women in the continent of Africa and back in 2018 Mrs Ferguson was one of them. The two married couples formed a telenovela known as THE QUEEN.

THE QUEEN is a South African telenovela that premiered on Mzansi Magic on August 1st back 2016. It is produced by Ferguson Films and owned by acting icons Connie Ferguson and her late husband Shona Ferguson. THE QUEEN airs every Monday to Friday at 21h00 on Mzansi Magic, channel 161 on DSTV.

Recently Connie Ferguson has been up and running with the business and continuing to build the legacy of the Fergusons’. She has continued to run the show after the passing of her late husband Mr Shona Ferguson.

Connie is keeping her body fit and does a lot of training too, she practices boxing as well as she was spotted at the gym training boxing by some other boxers at the gym. The loss of her husband brought too much pain to her as she does training to keep herself busy and clear off her mind.
