Actress and TV personality Lerato Zah Moloi took to social media to honour her late mother Cecilia”Candy” Moloi’s memory on the second anniversary of her death. Candy Moloi, famously known for her starring role as Vho Makhadzi on SABC 2 soapie drama Muvhango, passed on in May 2020 at the age of 67. Lerato Moloi posted on her social media platforms expressing her grief and pain of losing a parent. The TV personality also shared one of her fondest memories with her mom- which is their love for music.

Friends and colleagues shared their messages of support with Lerato Zah, including Gomora star, Moshe Ndiki. Candy Moloi was cast as one of the original cast members who started with the production when it premiered in 1997. She portrayed the role of Vho Makhadzi on SABC 2 soapie Muvhango.
