South African actress Zonke Mchunu is young and promising. Most people recognize her from her role as Imani Mukwevho in SABC 2’s flagship soap opera Muvhango.
The actress was born on October 12 in the little town of Maphumulo in the South African province of KwaZulu-Natal. She’s been performing since she was a child and is now 28 years old.
To have a long and successful career in show business is one of her dreams. Her mother was a staff member at the university she graduated from, therefore she grew up there.

Zonke Mchunu rose to fame in her home country of South Africa thanks to her portrayal of Imani Nkosi in the SABC 2 program Muvhango.
Her hometown of Kwamaphumulo, in the South African province of Kwazulu-Natal, is where she was born. After finishing high school, she went on to Durban University of Technology to major in acting and theater.
