Famous polygamist Musa Mseleku had four spouses. In 2016, his family’s reality show premiered, catapulting them to fame. The way Musa raises his children demonstrates his skill as a polygamist. The Durban polygamist is not like other guys who have numerous wives in that he actually provides for and cares for his family. Each wife and her offspring live in her own home, and they share a garage full of vehicles. Although each wife has an important role in the household, the husband still holds the position of patriarch.
This dad is fair to these women and makes sure they all have the same opportunities, but it’s common knowledge that even the most doting parents have a favorite child among their offspring. To me, this polygamist is no different, and here’s why.
Ma Cele
She is the first wife, and she is the one who consented to this arrangement. Since this man went on to marry three more wives after she, I find it hard to believe that she is his favorite. Even though she is technically the first wife, Ma Cele is treated with the utmost disdain.
Ma Yeni.
Though she is Musa’s second wife, rumors have it that the couple actually dated for some time before he married his first. This suggests he went back to her after settling down with Ma Cele. For all he cares, this may be his one true love. Musa’s face brightens up and he becomes more demonstrative of his feelings toward her whenever they are together.
Ma Khumalo
Without being able to start a family of her own, Thobile has suffered the most in this union. For a woman, this is the worst possible experience. The most heartbreaking part is that she is able to conceive a kid through alternative reproductive procedures, but her husband is against this because he claims that as Africans, they do not do things in a western style. As far as I can see, Musa is being extremely inconsiderate and unjust to MaKhumalo.
Ma Ngwabe
It’s the third wife that causes the most friction with her husband because she won’t stand for being treated like a doormat. When it comes to an issue, Ma Ngwabe never backs down. I also think she is being neglected since she is the “final wife” in a polygamous marriage.
