Kaizer Chiefs organizer and director Dr Kaizer Motaung has responded to getting the Doctor of Social Science Honoris Causa by the University of Cape Town.
UCT respected the Amakhosi director for his commitment to football and social improvement in the country.
“Kaizer Chiefs might want to compliment the Chairman for the renowned title that has been granted to him, as well as recognize his persistent effort in becoming the sport of football in South Africa and guaranteeing the upliftment throughout the course of recent many years of underestimated and impeded footballers,” his club expressed on Friday.
Dr Motaung was joined by his family and expressed gratitude toward everybody for the messages, saying he feels respected o get such a lofty title.
“It was a significant day in my life since it is an acknowledgment by others for the job I played with the assistance of others in football and this huge brand that is Kaizer Chiefs. I’ll continuously love the day,” he said according to the club’s media office.
“It is (was) an extraordinary day for South African football and Kaizer Chiefs specifically. Also, obviously my loved ones.
“I feel significantly lowered and respected for this doctorate by the University of Cape Town since individuals have completely applied their psyches and accept I’m completely meriting this honor.”
