The University of Limpopo says it is saddened by the passing away of an aspiring Medical Doctor Mandy Makola.

Makola was killed on Monday, 11th July 2022, allegedly by her boyfriend who later took his life.

 

She was enrolled in the Faculty of Health Sciences, doing Medicine level 6 (final year) for academic year 2022.

The University of Limpopo says the funeral service will take place on Sunday, 23rd July 2022 in Burgersford, Moroka Madifahlane.

There are quite a number of issues that should be considered in such killings that are happening within our country. It could be spiritually, it could be politically and it could be physically. I do believe that South Africa has got a certain goddess that feeds on the blood of its people. Whenever it is a season for that goddess to be fed, I believe that there will be too many killings in that season.

I also believe that in South African, most of these things that are happening shows that there is something wrong with our relationship with God. Then the obvious reason could be that these are the last days, people are getting out of control. But with all that being said, we cry with the family of the doctor, may they be comforted. May the Lord reach them where our words can not be able to impart, rest in peace my girl.
