Fan compare Thembi Seete and Unathi as new season of Idols starts.

South African Idols is back for the 18th season. Last season Somizi was placed on leave due to the issues surrounding his personal life and divorce. This time Unathi Nkayi and Randall Abrahams have been replaced by JR and Thembi Seete.

 

 

Fans started to compare the two and said that Unathi was a mother before she was a judge. They said that she pushed the kids and believed in them. They said that Unathi was up to date with with the trendy songs and they felt that Thembi was not a good replacement.

However others said that it was time for change. They said that Unathi replaced Mara Louw and it took time getting used to her. People said that they couldn’t replace Unathi with another Unathi.
