SEE : Kelly Khumalo’s sister Zandie to break her silence on Senzo Meyiwa’s murder

Senzo Meyiwa’s case keeps on taking different turns and twists, but when it comes to getting justice for the family, it seems there is still a long way to go.

Zandile Khumalo who is Kelly Khumalo’s sister and one of those people who were inside the house when Senzo Meyiwa was murdered, has finally broke her silence on the fatal incident.

Advocate Malesela Teffo who was the defense attorney on this case, but later resigned citing that his life was being threatened, had cemented on the argument that the Khumalo’s and other people who were inside the house when Senzo Meyiwa was murdered should be charged.

Teffo argued that it cannot be that these individuals are not held accountable in any case when they were at the crime scene, and probably saw everything that happened on the day of the murder.

Advocate Malesela Teffo is however not the only one who strongly feel Kelly Khumalo and her sister Zandile Khumalo must be held accountable. Economic Freedom Fighters leader, Julius Malema also shared the same sentiments, and he went further to state that he was more than convinced that Kelly Khumalo knew something concerning Senzo Meyiwa’s murder.

Over the years South Africans had hoped that the Khumalo’s will one day tell the nation what really happened prior to Senzo Meyiwa’s death.

What however disappointed many following Zandile Khumalo’s utterances is that just like her sister Kelly, there are simply repeating what is already in public.

Zandile Khumalo said she and her sister are guarded by the universal principle of innocent until proven guilty on the Senzo Meyiwa murder case.

“I was the one sitting next to the body putting pressure on our way to the hospital…I still got no answers but continue to fish. We are not guilty until proven guilty,” Zandile Khumalo said concerning the murder of Senzo Meyiwa.

Critics however argue that they do not care about what happened after Senzo Meyiwa’s murder, but are interested in the missing link of the events before Meyiwa was shot which is very crucial for the case.

“They only tell us about incidents after Senzo was shot, they don’t tell us the whole story from the beginning, from when the alleged killers came in the house. We don’t care about about what happened after Senzo was shot, we wanna know what happened before he was shot,” critics said.
