Actress Sive Mabuya is from South Africa. She was born in Cape Town and raised in East London, where performing in plays at church and school ignited her passion for acting. She was conceived on April 26, 1993. Later, she relocated to Johannesburg to pursue an acting career full-time. Sive is trilingual; she speaks Zulu, Xhosa, and English.

The actress from the Academy Award-nominated film Africa has the ambition of colleagues who are more accomplished than she is and the desire to surpass even the most accomplished performers.

Since then, she has been in numerous projects, such as “The Ring” by Mnet, Igazi, Sive joined the cast of the dark comedy-drama series Sober Companion on SABC3 in July 2016. Sive made her debut as AJ in the SABC3 soap opera High Rollers later that year, marking her first broadcast leading role.
