The wife actor Abdul Khoza ‘Nqoba’ pens an emotional message as he exits the show
Abdul Khoza is a small screen darling and has been for some time with his role in The Wife as Nqobizitha, the second Zulu brother. Every viewer of the show loved him for his funny and catchy phrases and even his demeanour. Nqoba’s persona showed that he was playful and approachable, and many people loved him for it. However, with the little hiatus that the production has taken came a lot of bad news for viewers, and Abdul announced more today.
Abdul Khoza took to Instagram to announce that he is bowing out of the series and his role as Nqoba. In a lengthy post, the actor thanked all his fans and the production crew for their journey. The actor said that not many of his roles before had been memorable and received by people as this one had. He fell in love with his character and the process of bringing Nqoba to life. Khoza thanked the writer Dudu Busani Dube for this now-closed chapter in his life.
In Abdul Khoza’s comment section, fellow actors like Mbalenhle Mavimbela thanked him for his direction and care as a more seasoned actor on Television. Many other fans are heartbroken and unsure if he will be replaced or if it’s the end of his character. Many fans are quoting some of his most historic lines in the series. Many are raising the question of which route the drama series is going to take now with most of its actors leaving.

Recently several actors have been said to be not returning for the third season. First, Khanyi Mbau and Lindah Majola announced that they were leaving the show. After their announcement, Mbalenhle Mavimbela, Mondli Makhoba and Zikhona Sodlaka also made it known that they were also going. Abdul Khoza took on the role of Nqoba Zulu, the second son of Sbopho Zulu. Nqoba runs a tavern with his baby mama, played by Zikhona Sodlaka but has always wanted to earn the respect of his brothers. However, he is the most comic of all of them, and he puts money first before anything else. His journey was a roller coaster ride as he once got the position of chairperson of the Taxi association. He, however, had the position taken by his younger brother after a rival family shot him.
