Nokukhanya “Mayeni” Mseleku launches her own fashion boutique

Uthando Nes’thembu is a show on Mzansi Magic and it was how we were first introduced to Mayeni. She along with her sister wives are on the reality show to showcase their relationship with each other and their husband. This time though, it was a solo project that Mayeni launched.

 

 

 

 
The second wife of Musa Mseleku has her own fashion line!

Mayeni is know as the wife whose little bit mean. The reputation she gets from the reality show might be a one-sided representation of who she really is. For the most part she keeps to herself and keeps quite. I was surprised to learn that just last Wednesday (29 June) she started her own fashion line.

Mayeni has always been fashionable in my opinion. She dressed to suit her body shape and does so without ever looking matronly or too old. She is a vibrant soul and fashion choices often reflect that. She has decided go get back to her true love which is having clothes available for plus size women.

Its clear she got inspiration from herself and her sister wives. They are beautiful and curvy women who are always dressed quite impeccably. Their style is enviable to many and it makes sense to capitalize on that and start her own business. The publicity from the show comes with loyal fans. Who wouldn’t want to utilise that to their advantage?

She isn’t the first wife to branch off and do their own thing. Mbali “MaNgwabe” Mseleku opened her own lifestyle and car wash place back in 2020. Thobile branched off into her own reality television and they all, save for MaNgwabe, have a show called igumbi Lamakhosikazi. The wives are clearly busy and I love that for them.
