Maskandi artist Mthandeni Igcokama Elisha Manqele is worth the same amount as that of hiring an SUV for a mayor and this is why he was not booked to perform at the Impucuzeko Ka Maskandi event.

 

 
Mthandeni’s high booking fee is the main reason why he won’t be one of the performing artists at IMpucuzekoo kaMaskandi event. Accordinng to one of the organisers of this event Mr Xolani Mcineka, Igcokama Elisha charges R100 000 for a live performance and R80 000 if he’s miming to his recorded songs. This money is the same amount that is paid to hire a vehicle for a mayor.(this is just an example).

‘I have been recceiving alot of calls from Mthandeni’s fans asking me why we didn’t book him. I saw his facebook post where he revealed how expensive he is and i don’t have that amount of money. Though he said that on a post, we also invited him and asked how much he charges and he never gave us a straight answer. Mthandeni’s friend Masondo told our worker that the matter is very serious and needs me to be involved.’

‘I was confused because every artist was booked according to one method. All the swearing words that he directed to me is also one of the reasons i never booked him.’ Stated Mcineka.
