The body of Khaya Magadla who reportedly fell into a manhole over two weeks ago has been found.
The 6 Year old from Soweto fell into a manhole that was open while playing with his friends.
After long intense searches by various personnel, his body was found, which his father positively identified.
Spokesperson Nana Radebe confirmed to that Khanya’s lifeless body was found near Klipspruit Cemetery cemetery in Soweto.
A video of his father breaking down in tears surfaced on social media as he was identifying his sons body, this left many South Africans saddened.
Poor infrastructure and poor governing are some of the reasons why the manhole was left open, which is a danger to society and little children.
The young boy can now be laid to rest after the unfortunate incident took place.
