People were astounded in the comments section of a picture of a purported pair sporting attire for a matric dance when they found something.

The gentleman shared on Twitter how stunning they appeared that day. As shown in the photo below, the gentleman is pictured on the left wearing a stylish black dress, while the lady is clad in a brown suit, a white t-shirt, and white sneakers.

An individual by the user name of ” Tomi Rikhotso @ TomiRikhotso ” felt the need to share this sight with the people on social media.

On the 26th of June 2022 around 11:33 AM ,and captioned it ” Matrick dance by Tomi R , Durban clients ” grabbing the attention of the masses at once.

And so far managed to obtain a seazable amount of 47 retweets , 1 Qoute tweet and a whopping 1,067 likes.

The Matric Dance, which takes place during the matriculation (i.e., last) year of high school, is the South African equivalent of the prom (12th grade). It happens near the end of the third quarter, just before spring break, which is followed by the start of the matriculation exams.

 

 

“The matric dance is a significant milestone in your academic career. It represents entering adulthood and acknowledges the effort you put out to finish your secondary education.

Matric farewells are occasions for students to unwind and have a good time, but they should take place after the final exams to give them time to study and concentrate on their exams. Students might stray from their studies if it is held right before the exams.

Depending on your level of excitement, a typical matric dance experience can cost anywhere from 1000 to 8000 rands. Personally, I think this is a little excessive considering that you are effectively paying for clothing that you will never wear again and a hairstyle that will lose its shape within a few hours.
