On 2nd may 2015, Duduzane and Shanice Stork tied the knot at the New Apostolic Church in Durban, making it what many call, ‘The wedding of the century.’
Shanice Stork’s background
She was born in Durban, South Africa. She went to Newlands East Hillview Secondary School and proceeded to pursue her tertiary education at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN). Stork is the youngest sibling in her family. She has two older brothers and one sister.
The brothers are very talented in sports, especially football and they both play for Newlands United. There is scant information about Shanice Stork’s parents. Her father was a prominent member of the Durban Community. Unfortunately, he passed away a few years ago.

Inasmuch as Stork is introverted in nature, she could not stay hidden for long as people wanted to find out who exactly she was, and how she won Duduzane’s heart. Although it is not known what exactly she does for money, Shanice has an estimated net worth of US$1 million.
Reports are that she is a business mogul primarily in Durban. With that kind of money, it is assumed that she is operating a very lucrative business and has acquired some assets to her name.
As a businesswoman herself, Shanice doubles as Duduzane’s business partner. The couple allegedly has a joint net worth of about US$15 million, which is equivalent to R225 million.
Duduzane’s take on polygamy
Two weeks after their wedding, it was discovered that Duduzane had fathered a child with another woman. There were hence speculations that he was engaged to marry the child’s mother; Nonkanyiso “LaConco” Conco, the actress and star from The Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD).
Duduzane’s father Jacob Zuma was a polygamist, having married six wives. Duduzane told Sunday World in 2020 that he did not fully understand the practice of polygamy at first but he learned that it can result in an amazing support structure.
“I didn’t understand it until I was about nine years old. When my mom died as a result of suicide, there was an amazing support structure from my siblings and mothers who stepped up. So I respect the tradition,” he said.
The 38-year-old, when asked if he would consider taking on another wife, stated that as long as everyone is happy, he would consider.
