Nqobile Ndlovu is a South African actress best known for her starring role as Nobuhle Zungu in the SABC 1 drama series Ingozi, created by Duma Ndlovu. She was also a member of the choir in Duma Ndlovu’s SABC 1 soap opera Uzalo, and in his stage production, The Game, set in a female prison. Nqobile Ndlovu, was born on 11 January 1994, she is currently 28 years. The South African actress, singer and dancer is well known for playing Khanyo Bhengu on Etv soapie drama Imbewu: The Seed. The star was once reported to have left the soapie but it seems that was just a false claim.

 

 

 
Early Life

Nqobile Ndlovu was born and bred in Marrianhill in KwaZulu-Natal Province in South Africa on 11 January 1994. Before making her debut on TV, Nqobile had to make numerous travels to Johannesburg to do auditions. She usually did this without informing her mother, reason being her mother didn’t want her into the entertainment industry, but instead wanted her to become a scientist. Her mother assumed that Nqobile’s unending travels to Johannesburg were related to her academics.

Career

Nqobile made her first appearance in the entertainment industry when she bagged herself a role of a choir member on SABC1 TV series, Uzalo. She got this role because of her singing talent . In 2016, Nqobile heard of the auditions in Johannesburg for Ingozi and couldn’t hesitate to move to Johannesburg to take part. She was chosen to play Nobuhle on Ingozi, after this she was free to tell her mother about her acting career.
