The murder case of the late Senzo Robert Meyiwa has been what almost every South African has been talking about the last few weeks if not months, as there have been more questions than answers to what happened the day the former Orlando Pirates Football Club and South African senior male international goalkeeper and captain died.
On the 26th of October 2014, the country was robbed of the life of Meyiwa due to the incident that happened at his then-girlfriend, Kelly Khumalo’s house in Vosloorus, Gauteng, as Meyiwa was shot and killed by five men who are currently in court and having a trial for the murder of the goal minder.
Despite the killers being said to have been found, more questions and accusations arise with each passing day, as South Africans demand answers to what led to his untimely death and what was he the only one shot in that house.
The questions that media and people are asking have since put his ex-girlfriend and mother of his child in the spotlight, as they have been many people wondering whether Khumalo had a hand in the murdering of Meyiwa as Advocate Teffo Malesela has said in court last week.
The talented singer seems to be using this court case to gather more fame, as yesterday she released a trailer of her upcoming season 3 of her reality show, Life with Kelly which saw her some words that will not sit well with the public.
Khumalo claimed that the people who hate her, hate her because she is not the one who died that night.
If I didn’t know better, I would have said she is using this to gather more fame which is not the appropriate thing for someone in her position to do.
Her 30 seconds trailer has indeed raffled up some feathers as they intend it to, but it is not timely as the public is demanding answers and this may make them angrier at her.
