When Isencane Lengane stopped airing, Thando had just found out that she is pregnant, and things were a little bit rough on her side. Siyacela was still exploring his new love interest and had on numerous occasions informed her that he plans on taking a second wife, to top it off she was busy with her final exams.

 

February 2022 came and Matric results were released, with this came a great surprise as news that Thando passed her matric with 4(four) distinctions broke the internet, viewers wanted better for Thando, so this made a lot of people happy.

Thando’s father surprisingly did a radio interview and also shared a Facebook post expressing how he is overly proud of his daughter’s results.

Sunday, 06 June 2022 Isencane Lengane returned to our TV screens and viewers are beyond shocked to find out that Thando did not pass her Matric. The now heavily pregnant went on to share that she plans on going back to school to upgrade her matric results, and even though this was quite shocking and unexpected as viewers were already led to believe that Thando did exceptionally well, the underlying question in everyone’s head was; who told Thando’s father that Thando passed with distinctions?

As viewers continued watching, it clicked that Thando’s father read the rumours on the internet and without asking his daughter, he ran with them and decided to post and further take on radio interviews without even calling his daughter to ask if the news were true or rather congratulate her.

The couple has since moved to Durban, leaving the Dlamuka homestead.

Siyacela is still unemployed, however, he says that he wishes to open a Tavern and a car wash as he is very much aware that the baby must be fed and well taken care of.

OPINION:

This show has been nothing but an eye opener to most of its viewers, it just goes to show that two minors who got married as early as 16 years cannot in any way build a home and live happily ever after without any sort of proper guidance from their elder, even though Siyacela’s dad was constantly trying to stir the two into the right direction, it was simply falling off on deaf ears and now they get to suffer the consequences.
