The controversial Sangoma Gogo Maweni, who made headlines for bewitching his baby daddy Sk Khoza has a reason to be celebrating today as she has graduated. The Sangoma took it to her Instagram to celebrate with her fans for excelling in her academic studies.

Gogo Maweni recently shared a picture of herself while wearing a graduation gown, holding a certificate. The 34-year-old Sangoma couldn’t hide her joy, and she posted her graduation pictures. She has proved that she is more than a Sangoma; she is intellectually academic with educational certificates to show for it.

The Sangoma, famous for using strong umuti for young talented actors to fall for her, has graduated. Although she did not detail her graduation qualification, Mzansi was impressed and sent congratulatory messages.
Although she has a calling of being a Sangoma and spiritual seer Gogo Maweni is highly educated. She comes from a family where her parents believed education was important in one’s life. The Sangoma did her matric at St. Teresa High School Manhattanville College, and she passed with flying colours.

After passing her matric, Gogo Maweni’s parents decided that their daughter should go abroad for tertiary education. She then applied for a place to study for her degree in psychology at the New Yoke University. Speaking in her interview with Daily Sun, Gogo Maweni said:

I wanted to show the world that it’s okay to be a Sangoma that is educated. Education is for everyone; even the Sangoma can go to school and excel in their studies. My parents wanted their daughter to be educated and to please them; I went to study for my degree in New Yoke. I did not abandon my calling because I wanted to be a graduate; I’m a graduate and a Sangoma simultaneously, so it’s possible.
