Daphney was known by audiences for her role as “MaMhlongo” in the television drama series “Hlala Kwabafileyo” and as “Sis May” in the comedy “S’gudi S’naysi”.

Mhlongo’s wife. She topped her career by playing Sis’ May on S’gudi S’naysi with who was known as Sdumo the legendary late Joe Mafela for all it’s seasons. She also played thw maid Tryphina and played Queen Ntombazi on Shaka Zulu. She is known for her prestigious acting skills over,
