23-year-old Dumisani Ngobese left many people in years after he was awarded with a Bachelor of Arts degree at a ceremony held at the UKZN’s Westville Campus on Friday. He came to the graduation ceremony without a proper suit like other students who were looking very neat and formally. Many people went all out when they prepare for this day. For this young man it was different because she is coming from another background where he was raised by his grandmother only.

The young man was very happy and relevant to have received the awards after studying so hard to see this day. Regardless whether we wear formal or not. He was seen very emotional as he reflect but I guess it was tears of joy.

Dumisani who is now doing hia Honours degree is a happy man after so much emotions about the journey he took andnits finally pays off. This journey has never been easy but its need patient for one to reach to the ending point.

 

 

 

 

 
Not long ago we have seen another student who attended his graduation ceremony wearing flip flops and this time we come across another one who attend graduation wearing Jean and t-shirt only. His outfit dies not look like a formally its as if his going out with friends. But instead he knew that if he does not get the suit his going to miss the ceremony.

Dumisani has a very good story to tell. He was raised with his grandmother who is also still raising over 10 children. His grandmother is a sole breadwinner in the house. People in social media has been touched by the story and many felt like they can donate something. It’s sad that because of her healthy, his grandmother did not make it to graduation. Mzansi is happy that he did not allow the situation to knock him down.

Ever since his picture has been made online, Dumisani has been getting all the help and assistance from many people across the country. He said that he has been receiving calls from different people offering their donations. He said some he event not answer just as many as they are..Dumisani feels so grateful to see the number of people who are willing to help him during this difficult time.
