Three20 role in The Wife

In The Wife, the Three20 character is a prisoner with psychiatric problems kept at bay with suppressing medication. She is famous for sharing a cell with Zandile (Khanyi Mbau) and was aware of the prisoner swap that happened in her cell. Zandile (Khanyi Mbau) was replaced by Nomusa (Lerato Mvelase), making the former a free person.

Three20 found out that her cellmate had changed and probed for answers despite the psychiatric challenges.

Failure to take medication worsened her condition and caused mental instability; she later stabbed Nomusa to death after falsely accusing her of being a spy.

In her exit speech from The Wife series, Stella Dlangalala expressed her gratitude to show producers for the opportunity she was offered. She singled out fellow actress Lerato Mvelase for allowing her to be herself during scene shooting.

Stella Dlangalala joins Gomora as Tiny the owner of Mnandi Shisanyama

Stella joined Gomora in a cameo role; she debuted on the soapie as Tiny, the Mnandi Shisanyama owner who fired Bongani from work, sending his dream of moving to Sandton to dust. Tiny accused Bongani of being an incompetent manager after Thathi ordered a looting spree on all Gomora taverns and shisanyamas.

Career as a comedian

She established herself as one of the South African finest comedians, inspired by the USA-based Trevor Noah; she fell in love with standup comedy at a younger age. Born in Port Shepstone KwaZulu Natal, Stella encountered rejection along her quest to become the artist she is today. A rapper, choreographer, and boxer, she is a personality of many talents. Dlangalala featured on Showmax comic show Funny people Africa alongside Africa’s top comedians during her comedy career.
