Is The Devil Behind The Suicides Of South African Celebrities – Specifically Men?

What is happening in the South African entertainment streets? What dark cloud is going on there? Whatever it is, it is very evil.

It was on Feb 23, 2022, when IOL’s Viwe NDongeni-Ntlebi wrote about the soaring suicide crisis in the entertainment industry, particularly among men.

No peace can be bought with a number of fans, or money, or popularity, in fact, I believe that the more one has of these (as a combination) particularly) the more problems one will have.

Recently, we have been seeing a lot of celebrities who have been found either dead in hotel rooms or in their homes with little to no explanation on what led to them taking their lives.

Most recently, the news of local hip-hop pioneer Riky Rick’s death came as a shock to many. Many celebrities have recently been either found dead in hotel rooms or in their homes with little to no explanation. Riky Rick was outspoken about his mental health and chronic depression – which I think is the basis for many suicides, mental health.

Just the other day we lost another actor, Sdumo from Gomora, and the list will go on unless we do something about it.

Allow me to speculate a bit, you will find that my speculation is quite worth your time.

Mental health and depression are entities that cannot be associated with good, right? Of cause. Ok, so if that is so, can we conclude that these are evil entities since they are not good, and thus have a source from bad. If it is not good it is bad, if it isn’t from God it is from a diabolical source – there is no in-between.

Are you following? Ok, let me explain something that Jesus said in Ephesians for 2:14 For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility.” Note the word Peace.

Philippians 4:6 Instead, in every situation with prayer and petition with thanksgiving, tell your requests to God. And the peace that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” Now note the words peace, heart and mind – see how the word peace is repeated here.

Jesus is known as the Prince of Peace, He is the source of peace. The words ‘mind’ and ‘heart’ are interchangeable in the bible – ‘heart’ is an old testament way of saying ‘mind’ for instance. There is no distinction, however, when put together as heart and mind as done in Philippians 4:6, it means to reiterate that peace will be everywhere, however, you view the mind as, and the heart as.

It is then my opinion that depression is the opposite of peace. God is there to soak in all our cares and troubles and be our very source of peace. “Casting all your anxieties on Him (God), because he cares for you,” 1 Peter 5:7. So if this is true, can we not conclude that depression, anxiety, worry, and suicide are the source of the devil?

If this is so, then we need to understand that the devil has a hand, and I believe that it is because he was permitted to have space and legal authority, over South Africa’s entertainment industry recently. How this happened, we can explore in the next article.

Our mission should be, to stand in the gap, and pray for the men in the entertainment industry who I believe are working on unholy ground (unknowingly) because satan has been unleashed.

An IOL article published in October 2020, exposed how Proverb tried to commit suicide and his depression. Thami Shobede collapsed while on stage – this spirit is dealing with the men in the entertainment industry.

Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
