Former Scandal! actress Sivenathi Mabuya married her long-term boyfriend Aphiwe Bukani over the weekend in a traditional ceremony in East London, Eastern Cape.

 
Sivenathi revealed several months ago that lobola negotiations had taken place and that she had agreed to embark on a new adventure as Bukani’s wife.

“I can’t believe how much my baby has grown; it was an absolute pleasure and honor to be on mic duty,” Mbane wrote. Sivenathi, who currently plays Francina Pikoli in Mzansi Magic’s Umzali Wam, revealed her engagement and lobola negotiations on her social media accounts back in February.

Mabuya shared a photo of herself wearing a T-shirt with the word Makoti, as well as a video of the entire process, from lobola to the welcoming of the groom’s family.
