Mr Kgomo only agreed for Meiki to serve her sentence at Turf Hospital because he wanted to make her life miserable. He told his wife about his plan and she not like it. But it seems like Mr Kgomo’s anger is on the wrong person. He should be glad that Tumishang was killed and that he won’t get to see him again, instead he is furious that Tumishong did not get punished.

 
Meiki will do all the work that can make a person feel like they don’t deserve to live. Mr Kgomo thinks that he is punishing Meiki but instead he helped her and has made her life easier because if she hadn’t found a place to serve her sentence by Friday, she would have had to go back to prison. His heart is not in the right place.

On the other hand, John is not making things easy for Meiki, he reminds her how bad she is everyday. John does not want to take the blame for anything, he wants to be the victim. Meiki should get mad at both MaNtuli and John and not MaNtuli alone.
