Few days ago, Eskom moved from stage 2 to stage 4 load shedding due to further breakdowns. It was implemented from 0720am on Tuesday after the Majuba unit 5 and Tutuka unit 4 were tripped.

However, Eskom did not announce the extended outages are going to last. They said that a statement will be published at a later date.

 
Today, Eskom have announced that power cuts are to be reduced to stage 2 at 10pm tonight. The stage 2 power cuts will remain in place until tomorrow in the evening. It’s reported that generations at Majuba are back, Matimba and Arnot power stations.

South Africans are not happy with the load shedding. Some said that they are not going to celebrate about the stage 2 load shedding, because load shedding is not going to end soon.
