Another presenter is leaving the radio world to focus on something new after being part of it for years.

Lebohang Motsoeli is a South African media personality known for being another jack of many trades in the entertainment industry. She is a presenter, producer, script writer and more. Motsoeli is again known as one of those few women who presented sports. Lebohang has been a presenter for SportsBuzz, SABC Sport and Metro FM. After having been in the entertainment industry specifically the broadcasting side for years, Motsoeli has called it quits as a presenter.

 

 

 

 
She did not just leave the SABC, Lebogang left to venture on her new business involving the health department. She took to social media announcing her departure and her next move or focus in going forward.

“Thank you for the ride. It’s been 20 years as a sports broadcaster and what an incredible time, it’s been. My journey ends here for now. I’ve had the best of my life”, Lebohang Motsoeli said on Twitter.

“Broke the glass ceiling and was a first on many memorable moments including a FIFA World Cup. Thank you for the support and cheering me on in an industry where women are seen and not heard.I became a qualified coach and achieved my post-grad with FIFA. All because of my passion for sports. My chapter as a broadcaster is now complete. My focus is on running FNNS with excellence and diligence”, Motsoeli added.

It is so sad to see her leaving the broadcasting world. However, it is good that she is not just leaving but leaving to go work on an opportunity to better people’s lives as she will be starting her own nursing school called Future Nurses Nursing School. The school is definitely needed for more nurses to be added to the health department especially since the pandemic has shown that health practitioners are needed the most in our lives.
